The UQ School Liaison team employs approximately 50 Student Ambassadors each year from a range of different study areas and backgrounds. Student Ambassadors are called on to represent UQ at school visits, career markets and events such as Open Day and Tertiary Studies Expo. Ambassadors are recruited in February each year.
To apply, contact the UQ School Liaison team at student.recruitment@uq.edu.au. Interested students are required to attend a group selection day, complete appropriate paperwork and be eligible for a Queensland Government Blue Card. Student Ambassadors are essentially the face of UQ and are therefore required to have a working knowledge of their study area, the campuses and the facilities available to students.
