For students in a Commonwealth supported place (CSP), the Australian Government pays some of your fees and you pay the rest, this is called your 'student contribution amount'.
The maximum student contribution amount payable in each year is set by the Australian Government (see the Study Assist website for details). The student contribution amount payable for each course depends on a number of factors:
- the field/area of study for the course,
- the unit value of the course,
- whether you're considered a commencing or continuing student, and
- whether you're enrolled in a program considered as one of the following:
- Professional Pathway Psychology
- Professional Pathway Social Work
- Postgraduate Clinical Psychology.
